chosen to be part of the exhibit jurored by renown
artist Joe Zirker.

“Women Beyond Borders: Out of the Box, Art
Expressing Life,” Palo Alto Art Center,
Palo Alto, California, October 2006. Honoring extraordinary
women recognized as community leaders, this project
brings artists and non-artists together to transform
a small wooden box using paint, photography, fabric,
text and other elements to become narrative, sculptural
objects. Completed boxes will be shown in Palo Alto,
Seattle, Los Angeles and New York. I am collaborating
with community leader Congresswoman Anna Eshoo.
